The Vietnam Visa must be obtained prior to entering Vietnam; you will not be able to board the plane without it. Almost everyone going to Vietnam will require a Vietnam Visa. The only exceptions in this matter are passengers carrying a valid Vietnamese Passport, or returning Vietnamese citizens with a 5 year Vietnam Visa.
Please note that you will not be approved for a Vietnam Visa unless your passport is valid for 6 months beginning from the arrival date of entry into Vietnam.

Vietnam Travel Centre makes obtaining a Vietnam Visa fast, affordable, and reliable. Depending on where you live, and how difficult it will be for you to obtain a Vietnam Visa, you have 2 options:
Option 1) Vietnam Visa processed in AdvancedThe advantage of having a Vietnam Visa already processed when you enter Vietnam is that you do not have to wait in line at the Visa Upon Arrival section. Upon arrival into the country, you will go straight to the customs to have your passport stamped and you will proceed to pick up your luggage.
In order to apply for regular Vietnam Visa, all you need to do is scan a copy of your passport and email it to mike@vietnamtravel.ca. Along with your passport scan, you need to advise what is the date of entry into Vietnam as well as your longest intended stay. It is also important to state the number of times you will enter Vietnam. Will it be a single entry? or a multiple entry?
Once we receive your email, we will contact the Vietnam Embassy to have a Vietnam Visa processed for entry into Vietnam.
Option 2)Visa Upon Arrival
Vietnam visa on arrival works perfectly for tourists and business travelers who would like to enter Vietnam but have no time to visit an embassy in their country or just wish to avoid visa procedural delays.”Vietnam visa on arrival” is legitimate and supported by the Immigration Dept (Vietnam Government) to add up to the open travel policy of Vietnam.
In order to apply for a Visa upon arrival, all you need to do is scan a copy of your passport and email it to mike@vietnamtravel.ca. Along with your passport scan, you need to advise what is the date of entry into Vietnam as well as your longest intended stay. It is also important to state the number of times you will enter Vietnam. Will it be a single entry? or a multiple entry?
Once we receive your email, we will contact the Vietnam Embassy to have a Visa Approval Letter processed for the purpose of boarding the airplane into Vietnam.
After we obtain the approval for you, we will forward you a copy of the Approval letter by fax or email. Copies of the same document will be forwarded on your behalf to Vietnam immigration checkpoints at International Airports only, so that when you arrive in Viet Nam, the Immigration officers will have those documents on hand and will be able to issue your entry visa expediently.
What is a Visa Approval Letter?
"Visa approval letter" is a letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department (Vietnam Government) allows you enter and exit Vietnam for a given time period. With the approval letter, you can pick up your visa at one out of three international airports in Vietnam.
Before issuing an approval letter, the Immigration Dept checks and screens your application very strictly, so there is NO CASE that you will be REJECTED at Vietnam airport when you have an approval letter in hand.
What do I do with my Visa Approval Letter?
Upon entry into Vietnam, you will be met and taken to the Visa Upon Arrival section in the airport. The immigration department will take the Visa Letter along with your passport and have your Vietnam Visa stamped in your passport.
Remember to bring 2 passport photos with you when you provide them your Approval Letter and Passport, because if you do not have passport photos, they will take a picture of you and you will be charged for the photos.
